My new stroller
Let me explain to you how the world of baby ergonomics and me don’t mix. Apparently the world’s industrial designers think babies like to lean back — all the time!! Ah-ma bought me a fancy, highfalutin, expensive high-chair. It doesn’t even sit up straight!! I hate that thing. I squealed and protested so much, Mommy bought me a $25 dollar sit-up-straight bucket-style high-chair from Ikea. I find it agreeable.
Same ol’ story with my stroller. Those stroller designers think all of us babes like to lean waaaaay back all the time as well. Not me, no sirree. Daddy jerry-built it into a mostly upright position with a belt, but every now and then I get sick of that as well.
Even before I was born, Mommy and Daddy spied this Kelty Kids upright backpack/stroller at an outlet mall wheeling some unknown toddler around. It is impossible to find in stores, not Right Start, Not REI. They always wanted to buy one, but didn’t want to buy it without trying it out in person. They finally gave up and ordered it online.
When Texas Grandparents visited, the stroller had arrived and we took it for many a spin. Fun times!
