Another girl named Widget
Twice this week, I learned that I’m not the only girl named Widget. Apparently, one lucky hare has the same name. She’s pink, fluffy, wears overalls and likes science. She’s on Wow Wow Wubzy, a cartoon on the Nick Jr. and Noggin networks. She even has her own blog (actually, the show’s creators).

Whenever there is a problem that needs to be fixed, she replies with her catchphrase, "No problemo!" She can fix and invent an endless stream of cleverly named devices (usually ending with the version number 3000), including a robotic chicken that lays a hundred eggs a minute, and a thirty-screen television (The Videotron 3000). Unfortunately, something always goes wrong, resulting in her usual reply, "That wasn’t supposed to happen!" She speaks with a stereotypical Southern accent.
I got to peek at it but daddy doesn’t like me to watch too much TV. All those commercials, he says, will make me want more toys in the future.
