I’m almost 4 weeks old in this video. It’s long ’cause Grandma doesn’t mind watching the whole thing over and over. But if you’re the short-attention-span-internet-generation kind of person, you can just watch a few seconds to get the whole plot down. I’m new to this, and I’m pretty repetitive.
I don’t sleep in the big crib yet. I sleep in the bassinet in Mommy and Daddy’s room. I love to rant and scream over nothing, so they kept me close to sooth me at night. They turned the big crib into a play gym.
Anyways, after being a dull lump of skin that eats, poops, sleeps and screams for 3 weeks, I discovered my hands can actually do things! Here I am giving these critters a workover. This is only the second time I’ve been on my play mat, and the first day ever! Mommy and Daddy didn’t know I had any coordination yet. I showed them.
And just to keep them on their toes, for the rest of the day I got mad in my other resting places cause I couldn’t reach the toys dangling overhead in the bassinet and play pen. Daddy had to lower the animals so I could hit them, too. But even so, after a good workout I get fussy and start screaming and make Daddy wonder why he lets me play if I’m only going to be super fussy and screamy afterwards. But I did start sleeping through the night mostly after these sessions. Co-inky dink?? I think not.
Daddy lets me work out everyday now. I’m temporamental and I don’t play for so long now that its not new. Instead, just when Mommy and Daddy think they can eat or relax, I scream and tell them I’m already tired of playing and demand some personal attention.
BTW, the crib was given to me by California Grandma. The rainforest crib set that can be seen in the background of the video was given to me by my friend Elsa in Germany. I haven’t met her yet, but I’m sure I will like her.
